Solving problems
with creative design
Based in Shoreline, Washington, CRJdesign focuses on creating beautiful websites using modern web standards.
Sure, anyone can make a website. You might even have a friend whose uncle has a friend whose kid has his own site. But professional web design is about more than having a few design classes under your belt and a copy of Adobe Photoshop on your computer.
The intricacies of web design are numerous and varied. A successful website needs to feature a combination of great design, even better planning, and thought out content.
CRJdesign knows web design and has the experience and skill to make your website a success.
Working with CRJdesign
Every project presents its own unique challenges. But, for the most part, my process remains the same. Below is a brief outline of my approach for new web design projects:
-
Define & Discover
A website requires careful planning at the start of the project to be successful at the end. Before any designing can take place, the goals and purposes of the project need to be defined.
Answering the following questions can help you plan your website needs:
- What are the goals for the site?
- What will the focus of the site be?
- Why will people come to the site?
If you don’t have answers to these questions, now is the perfect time to find the answers. Ultimately, the answers will help define the entire website, including the navigation, design, and content.
-
Design & Develop
Once a project has a defined focus with defined goals, the next step is design.
A professional design is created with the utmost attention to detail and the purpose of the website at the forefront.
The design is presented as a static mockup and ready for editing and tweaking based on client feedback.
Upon final approval, the design is developed using modern coding strategies and best practices. I could bore you with technology jargon and rattle off a slew of acronyms in hopes explaining why using web standards makes your website better. But without going into too much detail, by developing a website using web standards your site will load faster and work better for more people in more situations.
-
Review & Deliver
After thorough testing, your completed website is published and ready for the world to experience.
